This is a part of the Enterprise program aimed at involving a few commercial grid users with an interest in evolving cloud services.
Agenda:
A series of short presentations featuring corporate interest in developing cloud services together with a panel discussion of the key points and challenges to be met. The guest participants are Lynn Cohen and one of the other technical people from GlaxoSmithKline, a large pharma in Research Triangle Park working on drug discovery. Lynn Cohen is running the GSK Cloud. The other participant is Brad Shea from the IT group at WellsFargo/Wachovia. This group, in Charlotte, NC, has run the Datasynapse grid and is considering requirements for a move into clouds. In addition, Cheryl Donninger, SAS, will talk about their efforts in delivering Services using the Cloud. All visitors are invited to dinner following the session.
